Cancellation Policy

Appointments may be canceled or rescheduled up to twenty-four hours prior to the scheduled start time. Cancellations made at least twenty-four hours in advance are eligible for a full refund. Payments for rescheduled appointments will be applied to the new appointment date. Cancellations made less than twenty-four hours before the scheduled start time and no-shows are nonrefundable. Appointments scheduled by special arrangement outside of regular booking availability are considered Special Bookings. Because time is specifically reserved and availability is adjusted to accommodate these appointments, Special Bookings are non-refundable once booked. If you are unable to attend, please contact Mel’s Healing Arts LLC as soon as possible. At the discretion of Mel’s Healing Arts LLC, a Special Booking may be rescheduled when circumstances allow; however, a refund is not guaranteed. If Mel’s Healing Arts LLC must cancel the appointment and an alternative appointment cannot be arranged, a full refund will be provided. Clients attending virtual sessions must be appropriately dressed and participate from an appropriate environment. Nudity, sexual activity, threatening behavior, harassment, or other inappropriate or disruptive conduct is not permitted. For the comfort and safety of everyone involved, Mel’s Healing Arts LLC reserves the right to mute a participant, disable a participant’s camera, or end the virtual session at its discretion if inappropriate, unsafe, or disruptive behavior occurs. Sessions ended due to inappropriate or prohibited conduct are not eligible for a refund. Participants are expected to join virtual sessions on time and are responsible for having a reliable internet connection, a compatible working device, and access to Zoom prior to the scheduled start time. Please test your internet connection, audio, video, and Zoom access before your session whenever possible. Sessions will begin and end at their scheduled times. Late arrival will not extend the scheduled session time. Technical difficulties on the participant’s end, including internet, device, audio, video, or Zoom issues, do not automatically qualify for a refund. If a technical issue on the part of Mel’s Healing Arts LLC prevents the session from taking place, the session will be rescheduled or an appropriate refund will be provided. Zoom links and other access information are intended for registered participants only and may not be shared without prior permission.
